The La Crosse Jaycees organize and participate in many fund-raising events around the community. Although there are a few different events each year, these are some of the events the La Crosse Jaycees always conduct:

Date Night Auction

This silent auction fundraiser is a fun, entertaining event for the whole community and will benefit Independent Living Resources and the La Crosse Jaycees. Independent Living Resources is committed to community diversity through advocacy, choice and education resulting in empowerment for individuals with disabilities. They will provide services to persons with any disability of any age within our service area.

ABOUT 2008 MDA SHAMROCKS!

This St. Patrick's Day fund-raiser is held by businesses to help people with neuromuscular diseases. All materials are provided free by MDA. It's a great way to create a festive St. Patrick's Day atmosphere.

Millions of Shamrocks Against Dystrophy participants will "share the green" in time for St. Patrick's Day and help the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The nation's largest charitable campaign associated with St. Patrick's Day, Shamrocks Against Dystrophy has raised more than $10 million through the efforts of volunteers, participating businesses and donors. "This special campaign provides a marvelous way of supporting MDA's lifesaving research and service programs that benefit families, such as summer camps and clinics," singer/actor Maureen McGovern, national chairperson of Shamrocks Against Dystrophy, said.

La Crosse Riverfest

La Crosse 2008 Riverfest is July 2nd-6th Riverside Park - La Crosse, WI Riverfest is a five day family event held every year during the 4th of July weekend at Riverside Park in La Crosse, WI. There is always lots of children's activities and entertainers, water skiers, fireworks on July 4th, bands, magicians, and many more. The Food Fair has great food from some of the best local restaurants and dining establishments in the Coulee Region. There are events, activities, and entertainment for people of all ages. Whether it be the Art & Craft Fair, many water shows or the late night bands, you will not be disappointed with our annual family event. Come on down to Riverfest this year!

The La Crosse Jaycees® "Toys for Tots" program has been successful in bringing toys to needy children for over 50 years. This year, we expect to provide toys to more than 2,000 needy children in La Crosse County. The "Toys for Tots" program provides free toys to children, ages 0-12, whose parent or guardian registers with our organization at The Salvation Army, 728 Copeland Avenue, La Crosse. Parents/guardians list their children's age, gender, and interests such as games dolls, or trucks. New toys are then purchased by the La Crosse Jaycees® and distributed at the toy giveaway. This program is a Non-Profit Foundation with 501c3 tax-exempt status.

"Walkin' For Wishes" Saturday June 21st 2008 This 10K walk will benefit the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation and the La Crosse Jaycees. Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation is committed to granting wishes to those affected by breast cancer. They provide an opportunty to families that might not have been a reality without the assistance of the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation.
