MDA Shamrocks 2010
ShamRock It!
We are kicking off our annual MDA Shamrocks Campaign again this year! This St. Patrick’s Day fund-raiser is a Community Fundraising project with proceeds going to families that need assistance with neuromuscular diseases (Jerry's Kids Camp attendance, medical supply repairs, research hours, etc.). From February 15th through March 17th you will see businesses participating by selling MDA Shamrocks in the area. This year we are working to team with other local organizations who share our same level of commitment to the community. By doing so, we hope to reach our goal this year of raising $1,500 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. We will be visiting local, participating establishments after our general meetings on February 16th, March 2nd and March 16th as well as taking part in the Irishfest Parade on March 13th. If you are interesting in participating in the 2010 Shamrocks Campaign, please contact the La Crosse Jaycees at 608-791-1133 or info@lacrossejaycees.org.

2nd Tuesday of every month, 7pm The Root Note - 115 4th Street South, La Crosse Come one, come all! We have New Member Orientation the 2nd Tuesday of every month at The Root Note in the heart of downtown La Crosse. It is a comfortable, sophisticated setting where you will learn about the La Crosse Jaycees and how you can get what you want out of your new membership…all while enjoying coffee or your drink of choice. All are welcome to attend orientation with our new members (guests, current members, anyone looking for something to do on a Tuesday night) and learn how the Jaycees give young people (between the ages of 18 and 40) the tools they need to build the bridges of success for themselves in the areas of business development, management skills, individual training, community service, and international connections. Put it in your Blackberry, grab a friend and we’ll see you there! Please contact Membership Vice President, Erin Behlen, at membershipvp@lacrossejaycees.org with any questions.
